KEY WEST
City budget hearings start July 21

Key West city commissioners and city staff will start reading through next fiscal year's budget at 9 a.m. July 21 at Old City Hall, 510 Greene St.

Commissioners have reserved the hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 21 and 22 and from 9 a.m. to noon July 23, to allow time for the budget review.

A special meeting about creating a committee to lead the search for a new city manager is on the city's calendar for 2 p.m. July 23 at Old City Hall.

All of the week's meetings will be televised and streamed live on the Internet. Commissioners have no other meetings set for July because of the budget hearings.
