Keys Energy Services' rebate program for energy efficient appliances will be suspended July 31, according to a press release from the local power utility.
Customers interested in applying for a rebate must submit the necessary application and paperwork (available at keysenergy.com) by 5 p.m. July 31 to be eligible. No applications will be accepted after that date.
Since the inception of the rebate program in 2008, Keys Energy has processed more than $525,000 in rebates for qualified energy efficient appliances. The most popular rebate in 2014 has been for clothes washers, resulting in more than 200 rebates.
