Gay marriage graffiti mars clerk's office

Pro-gay marriage slogans were spray painted in red on the doors and steps leading to the Monroe County Clerk's office, 500 Whitehead St., over the weekend.

"A rainbow is a bold statement!" and "Equal Rights Twice 7-25," were painted on the north side of the stairs that lead to the front door, while the number 5 was painted on the nearby pillar, according to a police report....
