Outer Mole port calls rising
Initial reports show a small net gain for city

The city of Key West finally sealed a new contract with the Navy for use of the Outer Mole Pier as a cruise ship docking station, ensuring the island will retain three berths for Carnival, Disney and other name brands.

City commissioners signed off on the deal last week, after a rocky start last year over the terms the Navy wanted added.
