No infringement to beach access
Extra parking spaces and trees in plan for popular spot

The Navy and Monroe County have struck an agreement on how to keep beach access open to the public at the end of Boca Chica Road while the Navy removes trees as part of a runway safety project.

Both agreed that the Navy will push the parking lot barricade back 70 feet, move the Navy fencing to allow more parking at the new widened area, and plant more trees in that same are...
