'Canes hold off Panthers' late rally

TAVERNIER - The Coral Shores High football team was tested in the season opener against Southeastern Football Conference (SFC) opponent Coral Springs Charter, but the Hurricanes did not falter as they opened up an early lead and never once trailed despite a second-half rally by the Panthers en route to a 33-28 victory Friday night at George M. Barley field.
