Is the Vandenberg artificial reef project finally a go?
Sources report conflicting information on funding, finality

The USS Vandenberg artificial reef project may be close to receiving the remaining piece of the puzzle in order to sink the former Air Force ship six miles off Key West.

Local officials on Friday were abuzz with the news that the state had promised $1.6 million and the project was a done deal. However, the situation may not be as cut and dried as that.
