Do Cuban lives matter?

Last week, the Florida Marlins and the Cuban-American community mourned the tragic loss of José Fernández, the 24-year-old pitching phenom and 2013 National League Rookie of the Year. Fernández was born in Cuba and migrated to the United States in 2008. After three years of professional baseball fame, his young life was tragically cut short in a recreational boating accident off Miami Beach....
