The gift that keeps giving

A new family is moving into a Habitat for Humanity home on Big Pine Key.

Habitat Landings, the organization's first project in the Florida Keys, was completed in 1999. This will be the first time one of the 17 homes has changed ownership.

The house received a new paint job, floors and other improvements, along with the installation of a wheelchair ramp to accommodate a 5-year-old resident.
