JENNIE L. BERVALDI

Jennie L. Bervaldi, 37, passed from this earth Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.

Jennie was born and lived her life in Key West, Fla. She graduated from Key West High School, worked at Garrison Bight Marina and was enrolled at Florida Keys Community College.

Jennie is survived by her daughter, Kahli T. Bervaldi; mother, Bettie Bervaldi; father, Dr. Frank Bervaldi (Ruby); brother, Vincent Bervaldi; sister, Annette Hudson; grandmother, Jennie Fae Bervaldi; niece, Brittnie Al Bataa (Tarek); uncle, Richard Bervaldi (Cheryl); and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Jennie had the biggest, brightest smile and a sparkling personality and a heart that was open to persons from all walks of life. She never met a person that wasn't a friend. She will be greatly missed but her smile will remain in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made in Jennie's honor to the Cooking with Love Program at the Metropolitan Community Church.

The family received friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with an abbreviated service for friends and family beginning at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at the Dean-Lopez Funeral Home Chapel in Key West. A private family service will be held today, Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, before the burial at the Key West Cemetery.
