ISLAMORADA: A pilot reportedly was injured when his helicopter crashed in the water about 2:30 p.m. Saturday offshore Mile Marker 77.5. Someone from the nearby Robbie's Marina brought the pilot to shore, where paramedics took him to Mariners Hospital with minor injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration was notified and the Florida Highway Patrol was to make a report on the crash.
