Al Roberge, Duval Street store owner, was installed as president of the Key West Business Guild at a luncheon at the Rooftop Café.

The Zagat Survey of South Florida restaurants named the Buttery at, 1208 Simonton St., the best restaurant in Key West.

Unit 306 at Harbour Place, in Truman Annex, sold for a reported $35,000.

Wilhelmina Harvey wanted Key West to begin long-range planning for a Poinciana Festival to be held the next year when the trees were in bloom.
