Solid Waste Negotiations: 49 Days and Counting
Key West's solid waste consultant, Kessler, Inc., presented its final Solid Waste Master Plan to the city commission on August 29. A slide of the recycling thermometer from Bayview Park shone on the screen in effigy to the progress we have not made since its hopeful installation on Earth Day, 2008.
Kessler's master plan now provides a strategy to change that.
