Oxitec, the British genetically modified (GM) insect company invited by the Monroe County Mosquito District to consider releasing GM mosquitoes in the Florida Keys in order to fight the spread of dengue fever here, has published the results of its trials of GM mosquitoes in the Cayman Islands back in 2010.
