Key West is real winter wonderland

Just as I predicted, the heat returned this week after our first taste of a cool breeze last weekend. Anyone who was down at Goombay Friday before the sun slipped mercifully behind the buildings knows it was hot, hot, hot.

As usual, the brutal sun made all those fall catalogs we're getting in the mail these days seem irrelevant with their cozy cardigans, boots I can't afford...
