Over the past year, I've sampled some excellent limoncellos made by various friends. Limoncello is a zesty, lemony Italian after-dinner liqueur that can pack quite a wallop. The sugar syrup that goes into the recipe helps to offset the tartness of the lemon and, served chilled, it's a most refreshing drink and a lovely way to end a meal.
