The wildly popular Kalenchoe (Kalenchoe blossfeldiana) is a succulent with thick, scalloped-edged leaves that are two to four inches long. Opposite leaves are oblong and show no veins. Although they are thick, they break easily and should be kept out of the way of heavy winds.
