Ms. Alsobrook's engineering class recently held a "Recycled Roller Coaster Expo" for the students and faculty of Horace O'Bryant Middle School. The sixth- through eight-grade students designed, built, and tested roller coasters that they made from recycled materials, including paper towel rolls, air-conditioner insulation, and lots of duct tape. The participants were judged by their peers on construction, functionality, and overall greatness.
