'Hard Rock' sign swiped
Two unidentified suspects took off with the outdoor sign marking the Hard Rock Cafe, 313 Duval St., in the wee hours of Monday, the police reported.
Officer Ilon Fernandez wrote in his report that the restaurant's manager, Lee Ousley, did not want to identify the suspects.
"Therefore, I have no further information on the suspects," Fernandez wrote.
The sign, which had been hanging out front by the sidewalk, is valued at $2,000 and was taken between 3 and 4 a.m. Monday, according to the incident report.
The crime was classified as felony grand theft.
