Local authors at Pop-Up Gallery
The new Pop-Up Art Gallery, in the former Fast Buck Freddie's at 500 Duval St., will host a group book-signing for 21 local writers from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The authors will sign, sell and read from their books, including works of poetry, novels, newspaper columns, mysteries, nonfiction and more. Forty percent of sales proceeds will go to the arts: 20 percent to the Key West Emerging Artists Fund, and 20 percent to the gallery, intentionally created as a temporary space with support from Fast Bucks co-founder Tony Falcone.
The Citizen's Tan Lines columnist Mandy Miles will read from, "Only in Key West," her new volume of award-winning humor columns.
Other authors will include: David Sloan, Carol Tedesco, Michael Haskins and Rosalind Brackenbury.
