Perhaps this is a 'mind your own business' situation, since you clearly have no idea what it takes to run a tourist-based or tourist-related business.
I'd be interested in knowing what business you own and seeing your numbers. Then we can see what the truth is.
BP is one of the highest-earning companies on the planet and thus, they don't have to rape and pillage to recoup their 'loss'. This is but a drop in the bucket to those filthy people. They're responsible for losses to businesses and thus, taxes and other costs to the county. The Federal government made sure that they would pay when they required them to set up the fund almost immediately.
I'd not expect to see your business info because you work for the city, the county or a utility.
I suggest that you actually take responsibility for every single penny you spend. You vote with your dollars every single day. Eating crap food, buying at WalMart and similar places, and giving business to crap companies who don't care for the environment and wellness of the planet shows that you're every bit as bad as they are.
So you think that everyone would sell out if there were oil? I don't think so.
