A group of Key West Ambassadors recently volunteered to visit the city’s busiest attractions and hand out masks for those who don’t have one. And, considering this is Key West, they handed out party beads as well.

These volunteers fanned out at the Southernmost Point and Mallory Square encouraging people to wear a mask. In the Keys, everyone must wear a mask in outdoor situations when social distancing isn’t possible.

These two areas are particularly prone to crowds, making it hard sometimes for people to stay six feet apart.

The Key West Ambassadors are a group of dedicated community members who have attended the city’s Ambassadors Academy. They all have several traits in common, including being civic-minded and loving Key West.
