Kathy passed away in her sleep in Covington, Georgia.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Nilo Rodriguez, parents Charles and Kathryn Perpall, sisters Alma Underhill and Dorothy Keene.

Kathy was born in Miami, Florida, but moved to Key West when she was 11 years old, met her husband of 41 years soon after. Kathy and Nilo both graduated from Key West High School in 1959, and started their married life in 1960.

Kathy worked for Monroe County School District for 42 years, starting out in finance, and retired as purchasing agent in school food service. Kathy never met a stranger and through the years made many friends who she considered family.

Kathy is leaving behind two daughters, Dori (Jim) Stanton of Covington, Georgia, grandson James “Pookie” Stanton, granddaughters Laci and Lani Stanton, Debra (Richard) Castellano of Key West, granddaughter Katelynn Castellano, a sister Marsha (Chuck) Smith of Key West, niece Tami (Jody Viard) Condella of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, nephew John Michael Childs and niece Mia Viard.

Kathy will be missed by extended family and friends, all with special memories of her and with her.
