Our beloved Stephanie went to rest in the Lord’s care May 21, 2020. She will be dearly missed. Stephanie was a positive, upbeat, lovely soul with a great smile. She never met a stranger, was gifted with patience and always had a listening ear.

A native of Key West, Florida, she was born Oct. 25, 1968, she graduated Key West High School and attended Florida Keys Community College. She later relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida, and met her goal of designing and writing newsletters.

She’ll always remain in our hearts and memories. We’re blessed to have had such a wonderful person in our lives, so inspirational in showing how to overcome challenges with determination, dignity and grace.

She is survived by siblings Steven, Michael, Edward, Tina and James Hancock, Shelley Martin-Vegue, and extended family. She was preceded in death by parents Edward and Gloria Hancock of Key West.

Our beautiful Stephanie bravely fought COVID-19 for two weeks. As a life-long Bible reader, her favorite scriptures were Psalm 23 and Matthew 5:5. She expressed her belief that she could withstand any adversity with God’s help, to inherit life and walk in His new paradise Earth. It was this hope that sustained her in her fight against this terrible enemy. She was entombed at Memorial Park in St. Petersburg on June 2.
